Job Title: Deputy Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)

HJ Talent Solutions is excited to be working with our client to recruit a Deputy Care Home Manager for a well-established care home in Northumberland. This medium-sized home has a Good CQC rating and is looking for a nurse-qualified individual to support the management team in delivering high-quality care to residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Lead and support the care team, ensuring staff are well-trained, motivated, and delivering compassionate care.
- Take charge of clinical responsibilities, providing hands-on care and support where necessary.
- Ensure the home complies with all regulatory and CQC requirements, consistently meeting or exceeding standards.
- Develop and implement care plans for residents, working closely with the team to monitor their progress and well-being.
- Act as the manager in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the home.
What Were Looking For:
- Nurse qualified (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Proven experience working as a Deputy Care Home Manager or in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of care home regulations, CQC standards, and safeguarding requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A compassionate and person-centred approach to care, with a passion for improving residents quality of life.
